Most AK parts kits are demilitarized surplus rifles from Eastern Bloc and Asian arsenals, with the original receivers cut per federal law. To rebuild one as a legal semi-auto rifle, it needs a new receiver and must meet 922(r) compliance, which limits the number of imported parts. We handle the receiver, the U.S. compliance parts, and the full build so your kit comes back as a correctly built, legal rifle.
